Rootstack has been active in the Nearshore Software Development service market for some time, consistently partnering with software development firms, startups, and clients in the US and Canada. This year, we attended the Nexus2018 event, where our main objectives were to:
We weren’t sure what to expect, as this was our first time attending the event, which was relatively small, with between 80-100 attendees. However, we found several insightful panels that stood out:
This panel was fascinating, particularly in showcasing the growing US market of companies seeking to implement Artificial Intelligence to automate their processes. The most interesting takeaway was learning about the methodology and architecture that Symphony Ventures is developing. They emphasize that businesses don't have to discard their existing software; instead, simulated processes can be implemented on hardware, replicating the work of humans in a more automated manner.
This panel highlighted some interesting points, especially the work of Wizeline, which has an academy dedicated to software development. It’s great to see companies investing in the growth of the nearshore talent pool.
The development of chatbots was another key focus of the event. While Rootstack hasn’t yet been involved in chatbot development, we are eager to tackle our first project in this space. The discussions here were insightful, offering us a glimpse into the future of AI-driven solutions.
The networking aspect of the event was valuable. Many of the attendees were companies similar to Rootstack, so it gave us an opportunity to assess our current standing in the nearshore development space. We took this chance to evaluate how we can improve and better position Rootstack in the market.
Looking ahead, Rootstack is committed to attending more events related to nearshore development to continuously enhance our services and refine our proposals for the market.
