User Management Module in Mifos

The User Management module in Mifos allows administrators to manage system access, ensuring that each person has the appropriate permissions according to their role and responsibilities within the organization. This module is essential for platform security, traceability, and proper system operation.

1. User Management

Through this module, it is possible to manage the complete lifecycle of system users:

• Create users
• Edit existing users
• Delete users
• Activate or deactivate users
• Search users
• Filter users based on different criteria

2. User Information

Each user in Mifos has a set of basic and access-related data that must be registered:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Email
• Username: used for system login
• Password
• Assigned office
• Assigned employee: the user must be linked to an employee in the system

Important note: An employee can exist without having a user account (no system access), but every user must be mandatorily linked to an employee.

3. Roles and Permissions

Access to system functionalities is controlled through roles:

• Assign one or multiple roles to a user
• View assigned roles
• Automatic application of permissions inherited from roles

This allows for flexible and secure management of privileges within Mifos.

4. User Listing View

The system provides a centralized view to review registered users:
