JavaScript was originally developed by Brendan Eich of Netscape under the name Mocha, which was later renamed LiveScript, eventually becoming JavaScript. JavaScript is object-oriented, has easy-to-use existing code, has a client-side scripting language, is case-sensitive on variables, is case-sensitive on function, has interchangeable objects and arrays, and requires HTTP to run.
This is a language that can update and make changes to both HTML and CSS. In addition, it allows the developer to calculate, manipulate and validate the data. Because it is an "interpreted" language, it reduces the time required to compile compared to other languages, such as Java for example.
