From February 12 to February 16, Rootstack had the opportunity to be one of the 8,000 developers attending the world’s largest developer expo, DeveloperWeek. This year, our CTO Diego Tejera and CEO Alejandro Oses joined the developer community to reaffirm Rootstack’s commitment to constant improvement, transparency, and client satisfaction.
Rootstack participated in various events, including Beer and Two Tech Talks: Demystify Git | Build Web Apps like it’s 2030, Foreign Startups Network n Pitch, Design Talk Night - Human-Centered Learning Loops, and the DeveloperWeek 2020 Hackathon. These events provided opportunities for networking, thought-provoking discussions, and industry insights. The feedback we received from other established developers will be implemented to enhance our practices, increase our capital, and drive innovation.
The conference covered a wide range of technology trends, including machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, biotech, and big data, showcasing the diversity of topics relevant to today’s industry.
Unlike similar events, DeveloperWeek proved to be the perfect environment for companies like Rootstack that cater to a variety of clients. It offered a platform to connect with diverse audiences and explore various topics crucial to business growth.
At Rootstack, our 50-person team works with five types of clients: startups, product companies, marketing agencies, software agencies, and final clients. We understand that innovation takes many forms, so it was essential for us to sponsor an event that reaches multiple audiences and discusses a variety of topics.
As our team members mentioned, events like DeveloperWeek are vital for the organic growth and improvement of companies. If, like us, you are committed to fostering change and innovation, conferences like DeveloperWeek help you grow by evaluating your strengths and areas for improvement according to your company culture.
DeveloperWeek was a very positive experience for our company. The community exchanges were rich in discussion and aligned with the event’s culture, while the conference’s speakers and expo sponsors were of top quality. Although there was room for improvement in the night events and lunches offered, DeveloperWeek 2020 was a well-organized, high-quality event that required the same level of dedication from all involved companies—a valuable learning experience in many ways.
