Full Stack Developer (Java + Spring boot + React)
Job Description
At Rootstack, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer with 3+ years of experience developing modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.js. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and integrating REST APIs, working with relational databases, and building responsive, high-performance user interfaces. This role is ideal for a proactive and quality-oriented professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and working in an onsite environment in Panama.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Full Stack Developer.
- Strong experience developing applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building modern web applications with React.js.
- Knowledge of REST API design, development, integration, and consumption.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience using Git and version-control workflows.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
- Experience working under agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements and propose efficient solutions.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- English level: B1 preferred.
- Availability to work onsite in Panama.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, or similar tools is a plus.
