UX/UI Designer

At Rootstack, we are looking for a UX/UI Designer with 3+ years of experience designing intuitive, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Figma, user research, prototyping, responsive design, and design systems, as well as the ability to translate business and user needs into effective digital solutions.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Figma for interface design, interactive prototyping, and design systems.
- Experience applying User-Centered Design and Design Thinking methodologies.
- Experience conducting user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Experience creating wireframes, user flows, customer journeys, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Strong knowledge of visual design principles, typography, color theory, composition, and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience designing responsive interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Ability to create, maintain, and document design systems and component libraries.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to collaborate effectively with development teams.
- Experience working under agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Updated portfolio showcasing UX/UI projects and design processes.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, creativity, attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills.
- English level: B1.
- Availability to work onsite in Panama.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Miro, Maze, Hotjar, Google Analytics, or Microsoft Clarity is a plus.
- Knowledge of Material Design or Human Interface Guidelines is a plus.
- Experience designing SaaS products or working with Nearshore teams and U.S. clients is a plus.
