Design and Implementation of a Software for the Registration of Students Abroad and International Scholarships

Challenge

Our client turned to Rootstack with the need to have an interactive form on its website available to all people and students abroad to register.

Our solution

Work was done on the design and installation of software that would allow international students to register for international scholarships. This software included several fields for collecting all of the relevant information from the student.

Key features of this project

• Creation of a registration form that contains fields for the following information: profile photo, personal data, place of study, type of scholarship, name of the university, among others.
• Registration of scholarship holders abroad: Allow the registration of scholarship holders abroad, with no quantity limit. It contains the following Basic Information fields of the Scholar Abroad: first name, middle name, first last name, second last name, identity number (ID or passport), date of birth, gender, photo of the scholarship holder.
• Contains the following Address fields: country, province, district, corregimiento, specific address, postal box (optional).
• In addition to this, the student registration software collects information about: contact details, academic level, employment information and also if the student is going to opt for an international scholarship.
• Creation of a plugin to reset the user's password through the email provided to the system.
• History tab of procedures or applications for international scholarships.
• Creation of fields for handling requests, such as: current procedures.
• 40 hours of consulting.
