RPA implementation to automate searches
Rootstack created robots with UiPath to automate and streamline the search for profiles on LinkedIn for the recruitment team.
Rootstack designed and implemented a banking microservices layer based on business domains, enabling a financial institution to decouple critical functionalities and build a flexible, scalable, and reusable architecture.

A financial institution needed to modernize its technology ecosystem by adopting a more flexible architecture capable of supporting future business growth. The organization was looking for a partner with expertise in distributed architectures, banking platform modernization, and scalable solutions based on microservices and APIs.
Rootstack defined a transformation strategy focused on reducing operational risks while creating a modular technology foundation that would allow the institution to reuse financial capabilities across multiple products and digital channels.
The financial institution faced limitations caused by a highly coupled architecture, where multiple applications shared business logic and depended directly on each other to execute critical processes. This structure made it difficult to evolve digital channels, develop new financial products, and integrate additional applications or services efficiently.
The main challenges included scaling digital channels without impacting existing systems, avoiding duplicated business logic across financial products, reducing application integration times, improving the availability of critical services, and creating a modular architecture capable of supporting continuous growth.
Rootstack designed and implemented a banking microservices layer structured around independent business domains, allowing the institution to decouple critical functionalities and create a flexible architecture prepared for continuous evolution. Each microservice was responsible for a specific business capability, including customer management, account administration, payment processing, and financial product management, enabling independent scaling and reducing dependencies between systems.
The solution incorporated an API Gateway as the central access point for the platform and Backend for Frontend (BFF) layers optimized for web applications, mobile channels, and third-party platforms. Rootstack also implemented centralized security using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect, along with event-driven communication, resilience patterns, and intelligent load balancing to improve service availability and operational continuity.
To ensure efficient platform management, Rootstack established a comprehensive observability strategy using distributed tracing, operational metrics, and centralized monitoring. Through technologies such as Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Service Mesh, Redis, and OpenTelemetry, the institution achieved a scalable, resilient ecosystem capable of supporting new products, digital channels, and future business demands.

Independent scalability of business capabilities, allowing each functional domain to scale according to demand without affecting the entire platform.
Faster integration of new digital channels, through reusable services, APIs, and a modular architecture.
Improved platform availability and resilience, supported by decoupled services, event-driven communication, and fault-tolerant mechanisms.
Reduced operational and maintenance efforts, by eliminating duplicated business logic and improving incident resolution through advanced observability tools.
