Managing health care for the elderly can be a complex task. A single patient may require several types of services, so the organization of health companies is essential to offer optimal care to patients. For that reason, a medical company needed a platform that would allow insurance companies to manage what was related to the services they provided to their clients through their hired caregivers.
Challenge
The primary challenge was to develop a complex web application tailored for insurance companies that streamlined the management of diverse medical and eldercare services, including caregiver assignments, service tracking, and billing, while ensuring it met the nuanced needs of the healthcare sector and enhanced internal workflows without patient involvement.
Our Solution
Rootstack's experienced engineers developed a web application called One Time, focused on helping insurers to manage all the information and services they offer to their patients or clients, handling issues related to the medical care they receive, the caregivers who are assigned to serve them, keeping track of invoices and payments.
It is not a web application used by patients: it is dedicated to helping insurance companies organize their internal workflow, improving the care they offer to their elderly clients.
Features of this Platform
Agencies: In this menu, the platform shows all the insurers available to provide service to patients.
Patients and caregivers: These two options are associated with insurance agencies or companies, since on the one hand there are the clients or patients of the companies and, on the other, there are the caregivers hired to provide the corresponding services.
Patient profile: On this platform, each of the patients has a profile with their basic information as well as the medical reports that correspond to their case. This profile is associated at the same time with all the services that the patient has contracted, which can be just one or they can be several at the same time.
Billing module: After the hours worked by the caregiver are verified and validated, the same software generates billing invoices for the patient and payment orders for the caregivers, thanks to the billing module.
