RPA implementation to automate searches

Rootstack worked on a platform where users could search for
their preferred medical professional and schedule an appointment.


The client is a Panamanian company that connects top healthcare professionals with their patients, allowing them to schedule an appointment from the comfort of their home through access to a specialized platform.
The client needed a platform where users could view a directory of specialized doctors, allowing them to search and filter, schedule appointments, and view their appointment history. Doctors could edit and complete their profiles, manage their schedules and prices by appointment type, and manage their assistants and appointments.
The development team immediately began working to define the main objectives of this project and create a platform that would meet the company's needs.
The project is a matchmaking platform where users can find doctors and schedule appointments according to their availability.
This platform has a comprehensive system that allows patients to search for available doctors based on their schedules. Based on this configuration, users can then search by doctor's specialty. For example, a patient needing dental care can search for available dentists, view their schedules, and see reviews left by other patients about their services, allowing them to choose the one that best suits their needs.
Once an appointment is confirmed, the doctor receives an email with all the information. Simultaneously, this information is sent to an information system implemented within the platform, enabling doctors registered on Hauf to manage their appointment schedules.
The system also has a feature that prevents appointments that are already booked from being made available to other users. Additionally, the platform includes a geolocation function that displays a map of the entire area showing the locations of the various doctors.
Furthermore, an online payment system was integrated, allowing users to pay the full amount for their appointment at the time of booking.

This project was made using PHP, Symfony, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Angular.
