Our team of experts has updated the Rootnet mobile app, the CRM developed by Rootstack to optimize team, sales, and customer management.

The previous version was developed in Java, but it has been migrated to Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) to offer support for iOS and Android with a single codebase. This change streamlined development and simplified maintenance, eliminating the need to manage two separate codebases.

New Features

The app has four main modules: Dashboard, Workflows, Projects, and Timeline.

• Dashboard: Displays all active workflows, including those pending signature, overdue, updated, open, and closed. Each workflow can be selected to view its details in a modal window.
• Workflows: The filters from the desktop version have been standardized to ensure a seamless experience. Workflows can be filtered by most recent, open, or all types. Within each workflow, the desktop version's features are retained, except for digital signature integration. You can configure statuses (open/closed), assign responsibilities and approvers, upload files (PDFs, images), and manage participants.
• Timeline: Records the user's main actions, such as creating and updating workflows, approvals, and signatures. Includes filtering options by workflow type, user, and date.
• Projects: Allows you to perform all the functions of the desktop version, such as task management, workflows, sprint management, and time tracking.
